I was doing some deep thinking lately. I have some really sad hobbies. The forefront of these is gaming. The least of them is torment. But in between, it is generally blank.
I need to find a few other things to do. I have been attempting to draw stuff, but I have no idea on what to draw. I have been thinking of taking everyday events that happen to me, and try to make it a joke just to see the funny side of things.
Also, I have been more into reading books. There are a set of books I use to have when I was younger. Most of them, I was not able to understand what I just read because I was just 13-15 at the time I was attempting to read these. They were designed for adults to read. So, I decided to go to the store and pick up a few of them. The one I am reading right now is Vacuum Flowers by Micheal Swanwick. I never understood what I read compared to what I am reading now. It makes FAR more sense. Not to mention, now I know why I got into cyberpunk. It is actually a fun read. At least, it is for me. I also grabbed Hound and the Falcon, Integral Tree, Forge of God, and a few other books I didn’t have, but wanted to read.
But, this is not exactly what I had in mind as a hobby. I want to create with my hands, not just my imagination.

I am just flabergasted that someone did something like this.
So, this is my first week as the On-Site Engineer. Full glamorous name, but what does it mean? I am a technician that has clout. I like that. This was also the first time I ever written a report that people took seriously.
Beyond that, I have to make up this week with Jen. I had a few days that I was in a bad mood when I got home. After I get payed, I think I will take her out for a small celebration. I am starting to get where I want to be. With this job, I plan on saving a few dollars and use that as a down payment to an education. I have decided that as a strong knowledge of money matters are in my head, I would like to sharpen it with a bit of accounting knowledge. Yep, I plan on going back to school for accounting. This is now made firm. I just want to find a good accounting school in the area. From the looks of it, UNI might have a good path to that. We shall see.
I also need to make this week up to the girls. I will need to make some plans. Maybe we can go to the heated pool this weekend. Of course, we would need to make sure we are dry before going out to the car since its been getting FRIDGID outside.
Now for some Tech stuff: (heheh)
I have been really looking at some upgrades to my computer. I can’t deal with the fact that it will be pricey… I think the biggest issue is, do I want to go ATI or Nvidia for my video. Some of the marketing problems that I would say that NVidia has is kind of making me want to go ATI… but the latest reviews show that NVidia is back on track of making decent quality cards.
I want High end, but not at the cost of a Segway in my system. At the understanding of video cards, about 1/2 of the computer’s price should be to that. So, if I am going to upgrade my system, it will be quite a costly machine.
As you can see above, I have a new Twitter ticker. I can’t always log into the Ethereal Escape, but I always can twit thanks to my phone and browser.
If Aleigha decides to twit, I can add her bar, too!
