Playing Spore, got creature
So, lately I have been playing Spore. I believe this is one of the most fun games as of the last few years. You take a cell, and you grow it by either being a carnivore or herbivore, or if you evolve it, omnivore. After you evolve enough, you grow legs (or don’t) and go on land. From there, you are a nestling that goes around the land making friends, or food of your enemies. After you have befriended/ate enough of the other creatures on the land, you evolve into a tribal stage. Here, you gain the knowledge of weapons, music, and fishing. You can make friends with other villages by playing music, and if you try to make friends with tribes that are slightly not happy with you, you would have to give a gift of food. Or, you can do what I did and assimilate their technology by making their tribes extinct. After a while of doing this, you evolve to the civilization stage. From here, you acquire resources, like spice, which you use to gain money. Again, you have enemies or friends. This time, it is your race, but different factions. Either wage war with a fellow territory or go give them a gift of money. (I wage war, I am an evil race. What can I say, I am only human) That’s really as far as I have gotten, but I was watching a friend and he created a space ship and started colonizing. He was “Friendly” so he was doing trades and all. From there, he started putting together the galaxy. He has hit the omnipotent stage, and it’s really fun. I am going to get on the way there, by attrition. Xenophobia never felt more cuddly.
Here is Theep, my creation, in all his phases.
